Hand sewn wedding name tags on cream silk ribbon

DIY Wedding name tag inspiration

I’m getting married, eeek!

We don’t have a venue and we haven’t worked out our guest list yet, but my brain has hyper focused on all the important parts obviously, like name tags!

How cute are these? I’ve hand sewn (rather wobbly) the names of our guests onto silk ribbon using the colour scheme we plan to have. I thought they’d be great to tie around the napkins or to the top of the menus, to show people where their seats are at the wedding breakfast.

The ribbon was super cheap and 25mm thick. I used an embroidery hoop to keep the ribbon tight whilst sewing and drew the names onto the ribbon with a pencil to use as a guide.

Onto the next important thing……table decor!
